Inescapable gaze of this most treacherous of fiends.
The eyes of the damned projecting rays of disease.

Sickening the masses with sermons of filth.
Shuddering sweeps through all as putrid blood is spilled.
A torment to the mind, the hardest of trials for the will.
The arts of a demon, the purest pain distilled.
Let them be, they want to lie.
Let them go, they want to die.
Divine intervention by a sinister minister of the damned.
Peasants and lords alike pray for the strength to withstand.
For a minute, or for a day, or for a second, to them it's all the same.
